Slate.dll, Access Code Violation VR Preview

Hello,

I am facing a strange Crash while previewing app in VR. It says:
Attached is log, dump and ini
It’d be great to get any help on this issue.
I’ve tried all permutations, combinations to figure out this problem but nothing worked.

I’ve seen this thread, but as I am not using engine built from source, I can’t test it but I’ll give it a try meanwhile any help will be great.

I have the exact same problem. Random crashes with this stack trace.

I have found a way to provoke it: In VR mode - look straight down. First the viewport will gray out, then stutter, then the engine will crash.

For me its completely random. Did you find any solution?

No solution sadly, but an issue is created with Epic that will investigate the issue…

Can you give me that issue id or link for tracking purposes.

I have the same issue, completely random crashes, also they appear not every playing session, sometimes not appearing for a whole day. Random timing, random position. VR with Vive and customized VR template.

Hopefully they will fix this soon - it makes working with VR a major PITA…
