Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"

Why inst Play anime Montage playing the montage?

Hello every1. Well i have this situation called on a BT task alt text

And here is the event called on my AI alt text

My question is why doesn't the Play Anim Montage node play the anim montage and why the Play Animation node does it. I think the replication is doing well as far the Play Montage node do the job but well... Im in your hands guys, Thank you.

Have you ensured that the montage reference is valid?

If so, in the montage, are you perhaps using a Slot that is not present in the Anim Blueprint of the character?

Hi RyzonPT,

In your play anim montage node you aren't passing in the section name, unless the name is None. That may be the issue, you should pass in whatever you labeled the section inside of your anim montage. Let me know if that helps.

hm.. i did not add any section to my montage, i already did this with my Player and it worked this way (with "None" section). I just had some animations and made montages from them, did not edit the montage so should it work this way?
