Unable to package scene

Hi there,

Having real issues trying to package a scene in 4.18. In earlier versions I didn’t have any issues. I got prompted to download Microsoft Visual Studio which I have done. I am only working with Blueprints, and have tested several blank scenes all with the same issues. I am only trying to package my interior scenes so they can be viewed on another Windows PC. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

In project settings check is Blueprint nativization enabled and disable it. This shouldn’t ask for VS.

Many thanks but its all ready disabled

To start, you should post the logs that are generated when you encounter the issues.

I had attached a screen grab, is there a better way to do it?

The red text is unreadable for me. And in general, the full logs are better because if you’re having a problem then you’re the last person to decide what is relevant. Check here for log locations:

Thanks , for pointing me in the right direction.
The error is from a blank blueprint scene, so really not sure why it wont work even on a default scene setup.

Hi , I have the seem problem , can you solve ?

It says “see C:\Users\jamesgoodman\AppData\Roaming\Unreal Engine\AutomationTool\Logs\C+Program+Files+Epic+Games+UE_4.18\UAT_Log.txt for full exception trace”. Check there.
