How do I record myself in the VR editor?

I would like to record myself while working in the VR Editor. Until now I’ve used Shadowplay to record the mirror of the VR view on the monitor. This is however very blurry and has a narrow field of view.

How can I get the mirror on the monitor to look like they show in the ‘Updates to VR Editor | Feature Highlight | Unreal Engine’ Video? (Updates to VR Editor | Feature Highlight | Unreal Engine - YouTube)

Or is there a different way of recording myself other than using Shadowplay?

Thanks, I will try it out on monday.
I’m using the Vive, so I’ll need to look it up. At least I know where to look now.

Found this for the Vive:

If you are on the Oculus Rift, you can use the Oculus Compositor Mirror for that. More information here:

I assume there is something similar for the Vive, very likely among the Debug Tools / Utilities.

I tried it using the Steam VR Mirror. Only problem was that when I switched from UE4 to the Mirror window it stopped showing UE4… I fixed it (for now) by splitting the screen UE4/Mirror, that way UE4 can be active while also having the mirror on the screen beside it (later i’ll crop the recording in Premiere).

Still a shame that the Steam mirror only shows it in eye form. Would be nice to have it fullscreen, like in the ‘Updates to VR Editor’ video.

But this is already much better, thanks!
