The importing of the model is stuck at 100%

whenever i try to import my model which i sculpted in mudbox and maya, it is stuck at 100%, not importing the mesh, fyi i am a newbie who downloaded unreal an hour ago… the FBX is set to fbx 2014/15, exported using maya 2017…

Can you export the .fbx using FBX 2016?

It looks like that would be your best bet for compatibility.

I actually tried that before also, but in some similar topics, I saw people saying that I have to export the model as fbx 2014/15

I do not think it is the problem of my hardware as I have sort of good hardware with latest drivers, I have a gtx 1050ti (msi gaming x 4GB GDDR5), with latest drivers and a z270 tomahawk arctic, a Intel core i5 7600…

You mentioned you sculpted it in Mudbox - what is the poly-count of the asset?
