Proxy mesh and merge actors?
Stephen Ellis suggested I ask this here.
In the 4.3 patch notes there is two entries that I can't find information about and wonder what they do?
Is this something similar to Mesh proxies in UDK where you could combine meshes into a simpler version to use with LOD? I think they were made using Simplygon and as far as I know Simplygon isn't available in UE4. If not, is there anything else that can do this? Without it the whole modular workflow get a lot more complicated as simply giving each tiny piece some simpler geometry for LOD isn't enough.
