Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Scenecapture not just dark; it's completely unusable.

A while ago I implemented a 3D ingame menu in my game, which worked well. I used a scenecapture texture for one of the textures in the ingame menu, so I could get a smooth transition between game and menu. The capture was a bit on the dark side, but nothing that I couldn't solve with some animation. If I remember correctly, this was when I was working in 4.16.

Since, I have updated to 4.18 and when returning to the same functionality today, I found that it become completely unusable due to the capture being so dark it may as well have given me a black texture. For reference; below is the current result. The upper image shows the game without scene capture. The lower shows the player camera being captured and rendered into a userwidget.

As for the settings; this is what I have used;

I should note that I already tried out some other settings. In the capture component at least, I have tried everything, but everything just returns an image that is way WAAAAAY darker than it should be. Anything I am doing wrong here? I know that the scene capture always captures stuff a bit darker than what we see, but this is way too extreme. I really need the scene capture and this way I just cannot use it.
