Physics not working when object added to sequencer

hey guys
when i am using physics in sequencer it works fine, say for eg i have 3 spheres dropping, press play and they work as planned BUT if i add these to sequencer they don’t move. cannot figure out why???
and also any way to keyframe an animation like a cube going left to right and when animation is over, let the physics take over and the cube falls and rolls naturally.
i have tried keyframing physics but cannot get it to work…
