Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Error_UnknownCookFailure

Hello, I've recently been trying to package my game for Windows 64bit in development build. The only thing checked is to use Pak file. After waiting several times for at least a day each of Unreal trying to cook my game data, I get the Unknown Cook Failure errors. I do get some errors early on during the cook process about file names being too long, but it continues to cook for many hours after that before finally failing all together. Could those file name errors make the entire cook fail or is this from something else?

Here is one of the file name errros...

I found information on how to fix those, but was wondering if those would be what's causing the entire cook to fail. Its frustrating to have to wait almost an entire day to find out if it is going to fail or not.

I'm so close to finishing my game and want to try testing a packaged version of the game and now everything is pretty much at a stand still.
