How to fix the Vive floating above floor issue?

So I have the dreaded player capsule camera floating three feet above the floor issue.

I have read everything I can find of it and tried everything. The Camera is a child of the Scene, I’ve tried putting the camera it half capsule height, floor height, even 100 units below the capsule. It changes nothing. Ive moved the start point above the floor so gravity takes effect and drops me on the floor and inside the floor at various heights, no change of any form.

I had it working for about 30 seconds yesterday, but I have no idea what caused that and it stopped working again without any changes the next time I tested the level.

No scales have been changes, the capsule is at default height and as far as I know the world is scaled correctly. (Since I don’t know how to change it in the first place.

I am really lost as to how to fix this, can anyone help?

Yes the calibration was correct. I actually just fixed it on accident, deleted my player blueprint and created a fresh one. Something screwy had to have been going on with my first pawn blueprint.

Interesting. Does this happen even when you calibrate the Vive with the headset on the floor? I know Oculus has this issue (allowed 1 ft minimum for calibration -_-).

A solution as well is to get the real word measurements where the vive is on the table and the floor and change the camera location based on that
