Download older versions on the marketplace

As a previous Unity user and plugin developer, I’m concerned about possible bugs on my assets sold on the marketplace.

I couldn’t find a way to download older versions of assets you have bought on the marketplace. Unity allows this and it’s pretty basic, since people should be able to decide which version they want.

If assets and plugins don’t have a version control system, people who have updated and a major bug has been discovered after that, then they can’t go back (unless they have a version control system themselves or we have to do it by hand, if they contact us).

Since I’ve read the assets are updated only once a month, this is the recipe for disaster.

Could somebody clarify this?

I personally add it to the other engine install and then export → import. awful way of doing it but not sure how else to do it

A lot of plugin developers keep all versions and it’s as simple as asking them. I have every version (and subversion) of all mine. I’ve never actually been asked for an older one though - it seems the latest ones have always sufficed.
