Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Download older versions on the marketplace

As a previous Unity user and plugin developer, I'm concerned about possible bugs on my assets sold on the marketplace.

I couldn't find a way to download older versions of assets you have bought on the marketplace. Unity allows this and it's pretty basic, since people should be able to decide which version they want.

If assets and plugins don't have a version control system, people who have updated and a major bug has been discovered after that, then they can't go back (unless they have a version control system themselves or we have to do it by hand, if they contact us).

Since I've read the assets are updated only once a month, this is the recipe for disaster.

Could somebody clarify this?
