Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Editor crashes on Startup when converting Project from 4.10 to higher version

Hi there, I'm having an issue where my project wont open anymore when upgrading it from version 4.10 to 4.18 ( or any other version ) and crashes.

When inspecting the log file I found:

[169]LogWindows:Error: Assertion failed: (Index >= 0) & (Index < ArrayNum) [File:d:\build\++ue4+release-4.16+compile\sync\engine\source\runtime\core\public\Containers/Array.h] [Line: 633] [2017.12.21-01.23.16:466][169]LogWindows:Error: Array index out of bounds: 0 from an array of size 0

I've verified the installation and tried switching to different versions with copies of my project but nothing seems to work.

How would I fix this?

Product Version: UE 4.18
