Set mouse over and click events not working

I’ve set show mouse, mouse over and click events to off for four seconds at the start of a game but only show mouse is affected. A start screen UI widget fades in and the mouse appears after four seconds but the mouse over events and click events for widget buttons are always accessible, even when the mouse isn’t visible.
I really just want to disable mouse events for a certain amount of time at the start - maybe there’s another way to do that, or else am I doing something wrong with my blueprint?

No it’s not. It works fine, did you even test it?

Perhaps post a new question with the exact issue you’re having. Almost sure you’ll find a solution faster than digging up old post just to say things don’t work.
