Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

UE4 seems to eat up space on SSD drive. Is there any simple solution to fix these problem. I copied all my projects to another drive because of these problem and still I don't have space for packaging. Is it possible to relocate it?? Thank you!!!

Why doesn't Epic recognize these issue . Not every one can afford 1GB SSD.

You don't need to move your projects, just change the derived datacache location:

just search for: "ue4 move derived data cache"

MY Project in my documents -- unreal .... is 100GB. So if i put that on separate drive... I have 100GB free of space. Since I don't use that project anymore. So no need to have that sitting on my C:drive but can't find anything that can potentially crash UE4 editor. I herd something about Menu in Unreal that let's you relocate the derived.?
