DerivedDataCache Eating Up Space

UE4 seems to eat up space on SSD drive. Is there any simple solution to fix these problem. I copied all my projects to another drive because of these problem and still I don’t have space for packaging. Is it possible to relocate it?? Thank you!!!

Why doesn’t Epic recognize these issue . Not every one can afford 1GB SSD.

You don’t need to move your projects, just change the derived datacache location:

just search for: “ue4 move derived data cache”

MY Project in my documents – unreal … is 100GB. So if i put that on separate drive… I have 100GB free of space. Since I don’t use that project anymore. So no need to have that sitting on my C:drive but can’t find anything that can potentially crash UE4 editor. I herd something about Menu in Unreal that let’s you relocate the derived.?
