Unreal Engine / Import and Export Foliage

First of all let me explain what I am trying to do. I am doing set decoration with the foliage tool, however to get really randomized properties as “dumped chunks”. I would love to either extract the rotation/scale attributes to a 3D Package, modify it and bring it back to unreal.

Is this possible, or is something similar exposed in the C++ API?

Maybe there is something in place for the task of set decoration through RBD Simulation?
