Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Reports of Failed Import: Function (Interface) Incorrect

I've implemented a very basic gate-style interface that includes "Trigger" and "Reset" events. I've implemented this interface in two classes (blueprints) and when I trigger the messages for these events everything works totally fine.

Every time I start the editor and switch to my map; I get the following error dialog:

Failed import: Function (Interface)

See follow-on comments for additional images showing further implementation details.

Hi Thomas,

Can we see a screenshot of what is driving your Trigger and Reset functions?

This is certainly not fixed. We have about 6 blueprint interface functions that are throwing this error every launch. The error is as described above.

Hi phil,

I couldn't get the issue to reproduce with the info provided above. Do you have repro steps that could help us pin this down? Or would you be willing to private message me a link to download your project over the forums?

I have had this warning too on interface functions that should be perfectly legit (4.9.2). I re-added the interface event nodes and forced a recompile of the interface blueprint so that all the classes implementing it were updated/dirty, then compiled & saved all changes and the warning went away.
