So i downloaded Epic launcher and when i was about to install it right when i clicked on it a window show up says : This file does not have the program associated with it for performing this action…

It’s a small program that checks for registry corruptions associated with with installing and uninstalling. Once you’ve run it, you’ll most likely need to point it to a piece of software you’re having issues with.
hello , i tried this this but i couldnt find Epic launcher which im having problem with so i chose “Not Selected” i waited for the resolving it said it fixed something but i trid again to install the Epic launcher but still the same problem
How up to date is your Windows?

Judging by the message, something must have gone really wrong with this API for you to see a message like that (especially if you’re running Win10). Anyway, you can try to register it again:
Hit Win+R and punch in msiexec /unregister and then msiexec /regserver
