Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

gpu profiler show two fogs instead one

Hi, first of all let me tell that actually i'm using the nvidia vrworks branch of ue 4.17, but i think it is irrelevant to the question.

I'm wondering why the gpu profiler is showing twice some stats about the exponential fog while i have only one in the scene. As said, i don't think this is related to the usage of the nvidia vrworks fork because the fog is the only element in the scene that cause this "issue", i point it out just to be clear.

I came across this while profiling the gpu for optimization, any ideas? Thanks in advance guys.

1 answer: sort voted first

its probably because on your height fog you have the secondary height option, like a two layered effect.
