Add Postprocess on top of my mainmenu widget

You can use materials with widgets. In addition, look into the RetainerBox (the last sentence of that tooltip)

Also, have a look here for details:

And here, too:

I want to add some postprocess on top of my main menu to add a scanline effect. My main menu is just an empty level where I add my widget using blueprint on beginplay. Currently, the postprocess volume does not affect my widget.

So far I have not found a solution for this except with 3d widgets which dosen’t seem to work in an empty level.
Has anyone managed to achieve this?

Hey there, afaik the umg is layered on top of everything so you can’t really apply the post processing effect.

So no fancy menus in UE4? :~|

It worked! Thank you!
