Stopping/starting new music upon picking up an item

So I’ve made several musical sound loops, which are to be played in order upon picking up a particular object. The first loop plays fine (starting the actual game) but upon picking up the object the first loop doesn’t stop, and the second loop doesn’t play indefinitely.

Hey there, can you show us how you are playing/stopping the sounds?

The first loop is simply dragged and dropped into the scene itself, it seemed to require no blueprinting.
I’m just entirely unsure on how to “change” the loops (think bit-trip-runner-esque, how the music kicks up a notch when you collect the plus orbs)

Then you might need a reference to that and crossfade to another.
