Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

After Cloning Project, Is it Safe To Delete Old Copy?

Is it safe to delete my old project after cloning it? I cloned my project to a new disk drive because the first one is running out of room. That being said, I've been using the second project for all new activity, but it seems like all the updates to the new project are also occurring in the first project and is taking up even more space.

Is it safe to delete the original copy? Or does the second project depend on the first?

Thanks ahead for all/any help!

I am using version 4.17

1 answer: sort voted first

Cloning a project means it copies files to a new project and does not depend on the old project, so deleting it shouldn't be a problem.
