Undo Ctrl Z BSP Brush Selection Crash

I have had this bug a lot of times and think others have it a lot to, while you are selecting multiple bsp brushes, resize them, re-scale them, move them or rotate them, you make a mistake, press ctrl+z multiple times and than a variety of things can happen.

What happens is that too much changes are made or skipped at one or two presses, when you move a brush after ctrl+z, all changes are made again and than you go on from that changes to put it back manually, make a mistake again, press ctrl+z again one or multiple times, some weird things are undone says the undo message and than it gives a crash and you can start from all over.

I was getting a little sick of this message so tried to reproduce it myself(what you can do to) and reported it here, by making a copy of the map. you can reproduce this by re-scaling, moving, rotating, resizing multiple bsp brushes(like 100) and than selecting another group of bsp brush and do it again, press ctrl+z a lot of times and than when everything is back at how you started, resize just one single bsp and all the changes are back, customize all bsp brushes ones again and edit it, press ctrl+z a view times again and you’r editor will crash. I have multiple logs, some on purpose, some unfortunate, so it is pretty expected.
It also can happen when you press ctrl+y a view times and then ctrl+z.

Sorry if I used to vague language, but I hope I made myself clear and this Issue can be solved in the future so I and a lot of other people do not have to face this again.
I want to thank you a lot for your attention.

Sorry, I forgot.
I here have some crash logs.link text
The undoing and crashing is a bit more to the end.
Thank you again!

Thanks

Oh, I see.
I will try it out.
Thanks for your respond!

Even though I reported it using the new tool, The issue still hasn’t been fixed at March 13, 2019

I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue as of 7 August, 2019, but UE4 seems to still forget history easily.

Maybe I should Higher the history limit, but I’'l close this issue for now.

Thank you, Developers of Unreal Engine for fixing this issue in at least version 4.23 preview 4.

Sincerely,

Hello,

This new bug-submission-form is not public, but by email which makes your feedback rely on a single person which makes communication fragile and the fixing of the bug is almost guaranteed to be neglected because of probably full inbox and public unawareness.

This means that because of this new bug-submission-form there is no support left for the community.

I haven’t hear from anyone and crashes are still happening, as of 14 April, 2019.

Please keep me updated about the issue and the bug-submission-form.

That’s why I keep maintaining this thread.

Thank you for your attention.

Sincerely,
