Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Gear vr motion controller set up

Hi all!

I am working through this section of the gear vr set up reaching section 4( https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Platforms/GearVR/HowTo/MotionController/index.html ), and have hit another snag: I cant seem to find the motion controller mesh, is it something i have to download (or model) externally, or has it been excluded from ue_4.18?

regards T

The mesh is still there but you need to find it manually now. It's in the Plugin folder:

which you can navigate to in the Content browser when you enable view plugins

many thanks for the reply and advice!

i followed your instructions and found it, and have now done the rest of the steps on that page but now the mesh, although visible, is just floating there and not moving with the movement of the motion controller, despite me following each step of the tutorial. any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Hey mate when you display the control on your Oculus go or gar VR , don't you have an issue with the height of the mesh mine is all the way to the bottom when I deploy and I adjust it but it looks that is not changing
