Different quality Oculus, VIVE

Hi everybody. Can somebody tell me about the difference in Visual quality of Oculus and vive.
We are making game for Oculus. And when we tried to test how it looks on VIVE everything become very dark and resolution very very bad. You cannot even read the text. What might be a problem? Maybe we need to use different video setting on VIVE?

Does this happen only in your project or do you see this difference also in the standard VR template?

The Rift and the Vive work with different optimal screenpercentages. For the Oculus you can use r.screenpercentage 130. For the Vive it should be r.screenpercentage 140. You may want to check if using an appropriate screenpercentage makes a difference.

This doesn’t explain though why everything looks darker on the Vive. That shouldn’t happen.

Also important to note that there are changes to this in 4.19
