Phat, mesh exposion type event?

I am trying to create a physics asset for a skel mesh however when creating the “capsules around the bone” they make the mesh “explode” but to a more extreme state (especially if entire mesh is completed) similar to the bottom of page

however i also noticed that when there is just one bone on the hips the skel mesh hits the ground and then also rotates around onto its back and then under the plane ? the explosion effect also occurs in no gravity as well.
i have made sure the collisions don’t overlap as well but the effect is still present, for example when i put a capsule at the hips and one at the head, then the entire region between the 2 capsules gets stretched around 5 times longer than the entire mesh ?
also the mesh is automatically raised off the floor and this effects the animGraph, is there a way to fix this, and the pre-created capsules havent been made for the top of the mesh as seen in pic ?
