Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.

Do i need C++ to make a big open world JRPG?!

I'm only one guy, i want to make an open world JRPG style video game, do i need C++ to fulfill that or blueprint is enough?!! feel free to educate me on the whole C++ bluprint matter

Hey there, if you search in google you'll probably find a bunch of pages regarding the c++ vs blueprint. Personally i prefer c++ a lot more, but i still use blueprints in some cases. Regarding your question, you can probably make the game you want with just blueprints but it might be a nightmare if you don't organize them properly. The biggest problem is that you are only one person, and making a game of that magnitude can take years to be ready, my advice would be to make something more simple to begin with.
