Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Static mesh bad resolution first second

Hello guys,

When I open level 1, all static meshes have bad resolution. After like 1 second it changes in good resolution. Did I forgot to turn on some settings?

Hey there, that is probably texture streaming, if you go to the texture and disable streaming do you still have the same issue?

Do you mean: 'Ignore instance for texture streaming'?

If you open the texture you have option Never stream (you can search if you dont find it).

The problem is that it's a static mesh and not a texture. Do you know how to fix it with static meshes?

I know it's a static mesh, what i'm saying is that the static mesh uses a material, which uses a texture, if you find the main texture it uses and set it to never stream and it stops being low res when you start, then it means its texture streaming popping issue.
