When I apply lit material to sprite, it becomes completely black

It goes for all materials except translucent one, but I can’t use it.
I’m trying to light up tilemap level with some point lights but all sprites I add become black

Hey there, do you have any lights in the scene?

yes, torch blueprint (torch sprite + fire flipbook) has point light in it

Can you show me from the editors perspective?

error update- I forgot to build lightning. Now when its built, all lit materials are black.

I assume that the flame is a sprite set to unlit. The part that is not being lit (let’s call it the flame holder) is set to lit and it’s a sprite aswell?

The character and the walls are set to lit or unlit?

Character is lit. Tilemap is also lit, idk what do you mean by saying walls. I don’t have anything except tilemap, torch and character in level.

Problem that holder is black was before I rebuild lighting :smiley: . Now every sprite with lit material is black

Your issue is that the holder is black or did i understand it wrong?

Ah ok, you are using static lighting then? Have you tried dynamic?

yes I’ve the same issue with 4.20 , it doesnt work with static light, if its stationary will work, but no static light shadow is baked, not sure if its a bug or limitation
