How do I change the pivot of the VF Rotation Rate?

Hey all!

I’ve been going through the tutorial on the GPU emitter, but I’m having an issue on one spot. It seems the VF Rotation Rate module pivots from a point at the center of one of the faces of the box, rather than the center of the whole volume. Is there a way to fix this, and make it rotate is it does here: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/images/Engine/Rendering/ParticleSystems/Reference/Modules/VectorField/VFInitRotRate.gif

Many thanks!

Mine is rotating like this by comparison: rotationPivot

Hi ianoreo -

Was this a custom created vector field or one from the engine? If it was custom created, where was the world origin of the VF? It looks like your World Origin of the imported Vector Field is not at the center of the field.

Thank You -

Ah that was exactly it, Eric. Thanks so much! It was the only one bundled in the starter content, but I just exported a fresh one in Maya and the issue was gone. “VelocityGrid60” was the one I was using from the bundled content.
