Individual license vs. working for a larger company

Hello, my question is about how epic would treat ownership and royalties of my use of the engine. If I used the engine for my own personal use now, not necessarily to publish a game independently but more for learning, would that license get in the way if I worked for a company that uses Unreal engine under a commercial license? More specifically would Epic claim royalties only on the company, or also to myself for having a licensed copy of the engine?

I dont work at epic or anything like that so im no expert but from what ive seen the only time you have to pay for anything is when you publish your game and when a certain monthly profit is achieved.

No, it wouldn't get in the way. A company's commercial license with Epic would govern that company's use of the engine. You wouldn't have a personal obligation for royalties just because you worked for the company.
