Can’t get realistc Archviz result

Epic has released long time ago an ArchviZ showcase demo which comes with plenty of documentation. You can find it here: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Resources/Showcases/RealisticRendering/

You can download it, dissect it and use the same techniques for your own project.

There are also many tutorials on YouTube and online courses you can access.

If you like books this is a great one on the subject: Unreal Engine 4 for Design Visualization: Developing Stunning Interactive Visualizations, Animations, and Renderings Tom Shannon - Google Search

Hi! I have a big problem. I have been trying to create archiviz in unreal Engine for a year now but have not get the result I wanted. I have tried with all tips I can get. I have tried with tricking lightning settings in world settings and post processing but still get wired shadows and not the result like many archiviz videos on YouTube like this Unreal Paris - Photorealistic Techdemo (Real-Time rendered - Unreal Engine 4) - YouTube or this UE4Arch - Lake House Real-time Archviz - YouTube

Now I ask you for help so I can get it to work. I have tried this so long but never get it to work. How are they getting this realistic archiviz result??

Please answer fast as possible. I don’t wanna what a half year until someone answers.

I have tried this and even try to recreate but only gets leaks and different color on my walls also the light bounce is not getting realistic like the videos on YouTube. I have also tried to follow tutorials but ends up in bad results :frowning:

Hi!

I don’t think that after all those tutorials around anyone would take the time and write a tutorial for you in the forum…
I think you would get more help if you had a specific scene with a specific problem with screenshots… so maybe you should chose one you didn’t succeed, post your result with screenshots of your lighting + lightmass settings + the problematic mesh’s second lightmap uv for a start…

Update: Unreal engine 4.26 solved all my lightning problem with their amazing gpu lightmass feature. the only problem is that there seems to be a bug in the RHI settings. when I have dx12 RHI enabled an error comes up after a few minutes of work that closes the unreal engine and a message comes up that says my GPU has crashed or been disconnected. My Gpu supports DXR & when I have the same settings in unreal editor 4.25.4 with the older GPU light mass it runs without any problems. I also tried to see if I could export the GPU light mass plugin from 4.26 to 4.25 but it didn’t work.

Could someone see if there is a way to fix the RHI problem. I also tried with TDR modification but with no success

Update: This problem is solved
