Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Installed build from source fails with Unhandled Exception

I am having trouble making an installed build from the Unreal Engine 4.18 from source. It worked on one machine and now I am trying to do the same thing on another machine and it fails.

I am running the command:

 RunUAT.bat BuildGraph -target="Make Installed Build Win64" -script=Engine/Build/InstalledEngineBuild.xml -clean -set:HostPlatformOnly=true

The InstalledEngineBuild.xml is unmodified.

My specs are: Windows 10, Visual Studio 2017 (I tried 2015 as well)

Here is the output: https://pastebin.com/Je7wkpbJ

Any help would be greatly apreciated!

Product Version: UE 4.18

After days of trying to solve this, the only solution was a fresh Windows installation. The issue must have been something with my Visual Studio or WindowsSDK configuration.
