Realtime Shadows with AR 4.18
I am trying to get realtime shadows working in Ue4 for a AR game. You could achieve this in 4.17 using an unlit material and AppleARtexture but that doesn't seem to be an option in 4.18. Any ideas?

I also looking for a solution, I work in ARCore and I want to make good shadow instead of the blurry circle under objects.

I solved this issue by changing "Cascaded Shadow Maps" distances settings on the main directional as they're defaults values are not correct in any way for the AR scene camera, making them disappear like they don't work but these have been always there from the start...
The next issue that needs a fix (but this is a feature limitation on of how the light angle is calculated by the engine) is the disappearing shadow at certain exaggerated camera angle, but that's another story for another post.
