Reimport animation, not updating to new animation

I updated my animation in Maya, but when importing it to Unreal the animation does not update. It says it updated the animation but it just plays the same animation. I even tried deleting all of the associated animation assets in the folder, and then import everything again but it still imports with the old animation. (Everything works just fine in Maya, if I import the FBX it does have the correct animation, but I cannot get that animation to appear in UE4) I am completely willing to erase everything and start from scratch, I just need to get the updated animation to appear.
I just tried opening the animation in a completely different project on 4.16 and it is still importing there with the old animation (that has never been apart of that project at all, and is not the animation associated with the imported FBX) I have no idea whats going on???
