How to get rid of tiled look from lighting?

They are actual tiles snapped together because I didin’t want the texture to get stretched out to a rectangular shape cause it would look weird.

It’s not a perfect tiled material but is it supposed to be because I don’t want it to look tiled.

Hey so I’m trying to create a room and I just added windows. The thing is when the room lights up I see the separate tiles in the floor and before I did not so. What do I do?

Hi!

And are those actual tiles (separate meshes snapped together) or it’s one mesh but looks tiled after building light? (are we talking about static lighting?)

Texture is not correctly tiles/seamless. Can be also problem with lightmaps or both, but I bet this is just not perfect tiled material (texture).

So, you got what you need.

If you don’t have color differences in your material that would give this look and it’s a shading issue than there is a solution for modular pieces: set Static Lighting Level Scale to 0.1 Indirect Lighting Quality to 10 and Indirect Lighting Smoothness to 0.6… Will raise the building time!!

have you tried building your lighting
