UMG widget custom mouse cursor does not work in standalone Linux

The custom mouse cursors I have assigned to UMG widgets (under Behavior → Cursor) do not work in standalone mode or packaged versions on Linux (Mint 18.3). The behavior works as intended in PIE and on Windows.

I’ve attached a minimal example project to illustrate the bug: it is just an empty startup project with a widget that will switch the cursor when you mouse over it on Windows and in PIE on Linux, but not when running standalone on Linux: UMG Cursor Issue

I have logged this bug and another somewhat related bug through the new form. I cannot find them on the bug tracker, though. Is it expected that it can take more than a week before a submitted bug appears on the tracker?
If the bugs have been rejected: it is quite frustrating that with this new method we not only don’t know why something gets rejected, but we cannot even see if anyone ever looked at it.
