Engine causing BSOD

When trying to create my first project, after a fresh install, I kept getting “clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor” bluescreens. It seemed like it was doing it while compiling shaders cause it made my computer bog down hard occasionally and then finally hang and bluescreen. I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling with just the core components to the engine and this time I was able to create my project and even play around with the editor a bit. However it crashed again after clicking the launch button in the level editor toolbar. Sorry this is my first time asking something like this in years but I’m baffled as to what could be causing this, if you need me to provide anything else just let me know and I’ll find and post it.
