Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

such as while holding shift player become invisible to AI and AI goes back to patroling

Hi,

I just stumbled across this post. I'm a qualified Tutor and Programmer and I'm currently working on a Combat System for students to learn (Blueprinting). I am working on the project and have got this scenario working for Foliage cover. Thought I'd let you know I will have a training series available once I have completed the recording of the chapters. It will cover AI Perception where you have NPC's patrol, take cover if possible, and of course attack. I have completed just now the foliage volume meaning if you duck in amongst foliage you aren't detected, but if you shoot the sound will alert enemies and believe me...they come running for your location!!! I also have it when you stand up from prone or crouch and still inside the foliage volume they will see you and attack if you are in the FOV and Radius. So if you are still interested in this I will be putting this series out once completed which I'm hoping won't be too long. I do have other training material for sale on coding (basic coding course though so more for people who want to learn but scared to tackle it) as well as others too. Pretty reasonably priced too (and the rate the Aussie Dollar is compared to other countries even better for you guys!). Anyway just putting it out there for anyone else who stumble across this and wanting to know how to do a combat system and a scenario where the player is invisible to the NPC. Regards Shez PS: Forgot to mention it will also go into the State Machine and Anim Notifiers etc.
