Editor crashes on attempting to paint weights on 2nd clothing data on lod1

So I imported a skel mesh and created clothing data from within the editor. This seems to work fine and I am able to activate cloth paint and select the clothing data from the clothing window and then paint on the surface.
However if I then import a LOD and create new clothing data for the LOD and then try to paint on surface the editor crashes as soon as I select the new clothing data from the clothing window.

I’ve attached the crash.
