Insane Far Shadow Banding

i have very ugly far shadow banding in my 4km x 4km landscape imported from world machine via .r16 height map. when i make far shadow cascades 0 it’s dissapears. this is bug or? all lights are dynamic; directional and skylight only.

Hard to tell without details. Try bias setting on your directional light.

sorry forgot to add that. everything else is in defaults and i tried modifying them, no changes.

edit: in whole new project it works. so it has to be about my project settings i guess? if this is not a bug ofc.

Hi! I had the same problem and I found out that the issue is regarding the SkyAtmosphere. I switched In Planet > Transform Mode from “Planet Top at Absolute World Origin” to “Planet Top at Component Transform”.
