I followed the tutorial on respawning. What's wrong with it?

Hey guys I don’t understand why I can’t get my respawn to work. The third person character BP has a standard pickup, and health meter, but refuses to initiate the respawn. I made the “F” Key test and it destroyed it, but the game just freezes, no respawn. I stop play all together. I followed the tutorial to the T as far as I am concerned, but it doesn’t seem to function. Any ideas?

the only thing i can think of is if you dont have your game mode as the one being used for the level.
