Help with paticle effect and sequencer

Hi, I posted this in the forums and have had nothing back, please can someone help me as I really need to fix this.

I have 2 rolling fog particles using the volumetric fog material in my scene to give the illusion of a low lying mist effect, however my problem is that when I go to render my sequencer animation when the animation starts so does the initial rolling in of the fog which I do not want. I want it so that scene is completely covered. I’ve tried using the warm up time in the particle system options but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Any ideas?

Can you try adding a delay before warmup in the render movie settings? Try a few seconds.
