Hello, i am new to unreal and have been trying to teach myself as much as possible. i have been using the matinee editor to create a short film. i feel abit silly because i just cant seem to work out how to render out from matinee. i have tried the record button from the toolbar but that didnt seem to take into account what i had already set up with my cameras and actors, i also tried the Movie button and that brings up some render settings but when i use it, it seems to just record what is happening in my game screen. What am i missing? Do i have to set up a blueprint to get it playing from the beginning? any help would be muchly appreciated.
You can set it up to play in level BP as well, but the easiest way is;
Select the Matinee actor > Enable Play on Level Load in the Details panel. Then record using that Movie button.
