Physics assets gets corrupted

I edited a physics asset for a skeletal mesh, then closed the UE editor
When I reloaded the asset I get the following message:

Warning: Physics Asset has no skeletal mesh assigned.
For now, a simple default skeletal mesh (SkeletalMesh /Engine/EngineMeshes/SkeletalCube.SkeletalCube) will be used.
You can fix this by opening the asset and choosing another skeletal mesh from the toolbar.

When I open the asset, there’s nothing except two simple boxes and the toolbar shows nothing that would allow me to assign a skeleton to the asset. All my work with it is lost.

Obviously the asset should not loose the skeleton information, but that the editor does not provide the promised way to assign a skeleton is clearly another bug
