Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

How do I remove a part of an image in a widget?

I am working on a project and have loads of ideas, but ran into a question.

One of my ideas is to make the Health & HBR Meter a bit Translucent with Emptiness where the HBR text is. (Preview:) alt text

But don't know how to remove the part of the image where the text overlaps. (Preview:) alt text

Could someone please explain how could I make this work? :/ Thank you.

I can't even seem to find any tutorials or similar questions / posts. :(

its not an easy question to answer. my first thought is that you would need to mask out where the numbers will be so that is becomes translucent. that in itself is a difficult task.

Oh. Anyways I'll try to look into masking.

Thanks for the reply. :)
