cannot use my third person characters camera and has me play as an invisible camera not shown anywhere on the project

I am currently making a level on SoulCity in UE4 which I got for free off the marketplace. I imported a third person camera and character but I do not know how to get rid of this free moving camera where I can fly around the world making me forced to control when I click play. I do not know how to set the third person blueprint camera as the main one to use in the level and how to get rid of the flying around in the world. Any help?

you need to make the third person character the default one to posses. you have two options here: you can place a copy of the character in the level then select the character and look in the details panel for auto posses and set it to player 0. or you can go to where it says blueprint on the bar near the top click that and go down to game mode and there will be an option somewhere in there for default pawn, just switch that to the character you want. i cant tell you precisely what the menu says for this one because i dont have the editor open right now

set auto posses player to player 0 if thats the one you want to be in control of when you play
