Launch via Notify with Root Motion Enabled Not Working

When attempting to Launch my character via Notify, it will not work if Root Motion is enabled. The animation I have unfortunately will not be usable without root motion enabled due to rubberbanding effect after animation completes (it is way too far from origin point at end of animation)

Neither Launch nor Impulse will do the trick, the character just ignores the Launch/Impulse altogether. I know it is calling the launch as I have tested via Print String and watch it in the blueprint, the command is simply ignored or does nothing.

So, how can I launch my character while still using Root Motion?

It doesn’t exactly answer your question, but in my case since being launched meant playing a new animation (for example flying through the air after being knocked back), I stopped the current root-motion montage from playing, launched the character and played a new non-root motion montage.
