Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Performance issues

I have a i7 and gtx 1060... I can run games like battlefront or the witcber in super high settings and good resolution. So why is it that only with a few objects (around 50000 tris), 60 lights(set not to produce shadows) and no textures am i dropping to things like 15-25 fps?? (I have no LODs... i could think the issues have to do with shadows but 0 idea. Please help me.... all objects are static

You could try using the console command "stat unit" and profile what is actually causing the frame drop. For more info check this link out https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/how-to-improve-game-thread-cpu-performance
