[BUG] Deform landscape to splines, foliage position not updating

I noticed when I hit the “deform landscape to splines” function, the position of already placed foliage won’t update. Once you start sculpting and therefore changing the landscape again, the foliage updates.

Thank you for your report. We were not able to investigate this on the engine version you reported, but there have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur. I’m experiencing this issue in 4.10. Couldn’t update to 4.11 for some reason.
I was able to fix the issue with a tip that one of the Epic staff suggested in another post which was to select the foliage with the lasso tool (click on the lasso tool and hit the Select All button) then you’ll get a transform tool in one corner of the selected foliage. Lift it all up in the air a bit and then hit END on your keyboard. This will snap it all back down to the landscape. If you don’t lift it up in the air above the terrain first, some foliage will snap below the ground.
